Standardized Operating Procedure for Purchasers

The standardized requirements used by RE/MAX Edge for prospective purchasers of real estate.

RE/MAX Edge, the “Broker,” makes this Standardized Operating Procedure available on every publicly available website and mobile application maintained by the Broker and its licensees and teams. Copies are available to the public upon request at the Broker’s office.

The Broker does not require:

1. IdentificationProspective buyer clients are not required to show identification.*
2. Exclusive buyer broker agreementProspective purchasers are not required to sign an exclusive buyer broker agreement.
3. Mortgage pre-approval or proof of fundsProspective purchasers are not required to provide mortgage pre-approval or proof of funds.*

*Although the Broker may not require this information, a seller may require it before showing the property and/or as part of a purchase offer.
